Dr. Allen was available for signing books at
the MVMA Museum. A donation to the museum of $5.00 for each
copy of the Manual of Equine Dentistry sold. A
display pictured some illustrations and excerpts from the test.

(Michigan Equine Practitioner's Association) ;
Dr. Allen was invited to give a
lecture/presentation to a group of equine veterinary practitioners
during an annual meeting. Dr. Hildebrand of the group
arranged the speaking engagement, as he is planning to start a
dental school in Michigan. (February 11, 2002 - Michigan) |
| The Equine
Affairs 2004; Dr. Allen, Carl Mitz,
John Causy and Dawn Sperry-Allen maintained an educational booth
at this event. A portion of Carl Mitz's extensive skull
collection, illustrating equine dental abnormalities, complete
with corresponding photographs, helped to convey the importance of
equine dentistry. Presentations and live dental
demonstrations were also a part of the dentistry educational

Convention 2004; Dr. Allen is to

the Buccal Adjacent to the Cheek Teeth in 199 Horses.

horse dentistry to horse owners at this event. |

University of MO at Columbia
- January 28-2006; A
presentation/demonstration will be given to benefit veterinary
students for a one day session at the University. Dr. Allen
will give a Power Point presentation followed by live
demonstration in his equine dental trailer. |
